Today’s forecast high is -29 Celsius with a wind chill of -35 Celsius a really good day to snuggle up against the warmth of a fire place. So once again I dig through the archives to find these two photos’ from much warmer days.

It is only fitting to show some of last years “summer at the beach” photos. It seems like we have been in the frosty grip of winter forever; even though this has been the mildest winter on record, it still hasn’t been tee-shirt and shorts weather!

These two photos were taken on Lake Ontario at beautiful Jack Darling Park in Mississauga when the outside temperature was a balmy 24 Celsius. The dried out driftwood testifies to the dry warmth that we felt while we walked along the lakefront that day. It was partly cloudy yet bright and sunny with a refreshing breeze blowing off the crystal blue lake. It certainly was a great day for photography. Come on summer we need you to come back and stay as long as you like.
