Ducklings..

While strolling along the beach in Mississauga I startled a mother duck and her brood, which were resting in the tall grass at the edge of the water. I apologized for startling her but she just seemed uninterested in what I had to say.

Mother duck and her ducklings paddled away as quick as they could. the ducklings really move fast for being so little. they glide across the water effortlessly, almost as if they had little motors on their tiny little duck feet. Mom tried to coral them into an orderly fashion but this one duckling kept getting ahead of her. causing her to speed up and forcing the others to keep up. it is very cute to watch.
