            A mix of Class 37 and Class31 locomotives stabled on March MPD on the 13th November 1982.

This Saturday day out to Peterborough, Cambridge and March turned out to memorable for me for all the wrong reasons. On the way home as I made a quick change of train at Leicester, I developed some chest pains. These subsided as I sat on the train to Long Eaton but came back with a vengeance as I left Long Eaton station to walk home. Net result was a Saturday night in A&E, seven days in hospital and the rest of 1982 off work on sick leave, all down to a collapsed lung.
