The White Swan...........

By mid February the weeks of unusually mild winter weather had caused all the snow and ice to melt on Lake Ontario. the local swan population took advantage of the lovely almost spring like conditions and were effortlessly floating around on the sunlit silver and blue waters of Jack Darling parks water front.

the swan is a beautiful elegant bird that has caught the attention of artists for millennia; it is no wonder, because they are so regal and almost stately in the way they conduct themselves.

This single swan swam by and fittingly paid no attention to me and my camera.
