            25154 in the Up yard at Nuneaton, 12th May 1983.

Locomotive History
25154 was ooriginally D7504 and was delivered from Derby Works in October 1964 to the Nottingham Division (Toton). The high level decision to withdraw the Western Region diesel hydraulic fleet required their replacement by a variety of other locomotive classes and in August 1971 Class 25 5179 arrived at Laira for crew training to enable Class 25 locomotives to replace the NBL Class 22 locomotives. Over the next few months Class 25 locomotives started to be transferred to Laira and in January 1972 a batch of eight (7502-7509) arrived from the London Midland Region. It would not remain at Laira long and by November 1972 it had transferred to Bristol and became a Cardiff engine a month later. In December 1976 25154 was back on the London Midland Region allocated to Crewe and after spells at Longsight, Kingmoor, Cricklewood and Bescot was withdrawn in March 1985. Following withdrawal 25154 was stored at Tyseley until March 1987 when it moved Crewe and then to Vic Berry, Leicester in July 1987 where it was broken up during November 1987.
